As our organization grows, we are seeking a Consultant to deliver consulting services in our Southern California division. This individual will be able to leverage his/her management expertise and knowledge of leadership and EQ methodologies with our industry leading content and methodologies to client engagements in the greater Orange County, CA area. In this rewarding Consultant role, you will facilitate classroom learning workshops, provide executive coaching interactions and deliver consulting expertise to our impressive client base. The selected applicant will also work with the COO to build our business by selling our services to existing and potential new clients on the west coast.


Leadership Program Facilitation

  • Present Performex content in a classroom setting, and lead interactive activities to deliver advanced programs for midlevel to senior level executives.
    • Encourage interaction, share insights, and make the content come alive.
    • Tell relevant stories from your management experience to bring concepts to life
    • Provide solutions and assist participants in on-the-job applications of managerial tools
  • Work collaboratively with Program Administrator to coordinate pre- and post- workshop tasks, including but not limited to:
    • Program Logistics – space, catering, materials, supplies
    • Conduct professional and confidential discussions with clients’ managers and HR leaders
    • Analyze data from behavioral assessments, and 360 degree multi-raters to assess participant’s individual strengths and challenges
    • Lead in-person meetings with clients to ensure management buy-in on workshop outputs including the participants leadership development plans

Executive Coaching

  • Provide in-person executive coaching using Performex’s methodologies to support participants’ development and help overcome resistance to change
  • Travel to conduct coaching sessions at client locations whenever possible

Business Development

  • Drive west coast growth through business development activities targeting new prospects and expanding services within current client base
  • Work collaboratively with COO to develop and present program proposals
  • Develop prospective client lists and conduct outreach, documenting activities in CRM
  • Participate in approved local activities and organizations to build relationships and awareness in the region

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required (MBA preferred)
  • Proven success as a mid to senior level manager preferably managing technical functions
  • Experience developing and coaching employees as a manager
  • Existing and substantial regional prospect list for relationship-based sales
  • Willingness to travel throughout region for business development activities and program execution
  • Sales training/certification preferred
  • Coaching certification preferred

Role Dimensions

  • 1099 Contractor
  • Highly Competitive Hourly Rate for Coaching and Facilitation activities
  • Commission for Successful sales of programs and services
  • Monthly Billing
  • Minimal Travel required within Southern California region
  • Possibility of additional travel if you are interested

*Candidates will be flexible and willing to accept a work schedule with paid hours that can range from as low as 120 to 1,000 annually depending upon personal success selling, company’s consulting sales and workshop schedules.
