Job Summary -

The Correspondence Specialist processes written requests from customers, agencies, and escalated cases.

  • Part-time ($0.25, Shift ($1.00) & Spanish ($0.50) Differentials
  • Training performance bonus additional $1.50 per every hour worked (First 90 days)
  • Maximum of $200 monthly performance bonus
  • Quarterly Top Performer Bonus of $300 per performance metrics
  • Paid Time Off - 40 hours of paid time off for full-time employees
  • Paid Time Off - 20 hours of paid time off for part-time employees

Essential Duties and Responsibilities -

  • Processes all incoming written requests within established service levels and standards
  • Ensures that all cases are processed within company standards or service levels.
  • Completes general support inbox inquiries such as issuing of refunds, closing accounts, and “Opt-Outs” within established service levels and standards.
  • Consistent excellent attendance and punctuality is required for successful performance and excellent customer service
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Required to be in office for the first 30 days
  • Work options:
    • Full-time in office
    • Hybrid (in-office and remote)
    • Full-time remote (temporary)

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities) -

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to communicate within all levels of the company as well as with customers and/or agencies
  • Experience and ability to work independently, organize time, set priorities to meet established deadlines
  • Prioritize assignments and deadlines with the ability to be flexible to meet the most urgent task
  • Typing proficiency of at least 45 WPM
  • Ability to manage multiple high priority projects and maintain a keen attention to detail and timelines

Competencies -

The Correspondence Specialist I communicates to individuals and teams both verbally and in writing using a command of the English language. This position requires the ability to prioritize, multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.

Minimum Education and/or Experience -

  • High School diploma
  • Two years working in an office environment with an emphasis on written correspondence
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Mathematical Skills -

As required to perform essential job duties and responsibilities

Problem Solving/Reasoning Ability -

As required to perform essential job duties and responsibilities

Computer Skills -

Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
