The Opportunity: The mission of the Retail Executive is to grow the sales for the company in multiple retail and wholesale channels. This is to be accomplished by working with the senior leadership team to create a viable revenue plan, to build out the team required and then to execute on the plan. The first objective is to “hunt” down the right prospects and then to “farm” the potential to grow the company’s overall product placement footprint.
Build a worldwide retail presence.
Participate as a member of the executive team (weekly L10, quarterly and annual planning).
Build, mentor and lead a sales department to reach the global retail market within targeted categories including Smart Device Protection, Eyewear, Lifestyle, Accessories, others as determined by senior leadership.
Oversee corporate and promotional product sales.
Build out and manage the required 3rd party sales reps and distributors.
Develop the strategic plan outlining how the sales team will continue to support the vision of the CEO and the Board of Directors.
Interface with retail buyers and negotiate terms and packages not to exceed predetermined levels.
Work with the management team to execute financial forecasting and reporting.
Oversee the management of the CRM system to help manage relationships and execute within the right time frame.
Work with operations on product capacity planning.
Qualifications (What might describe you)
Extensive proven experience in developing retail revenue with experience in some or all of the target categories.
Proven ability to build, mentor and lead a sales department.
Validated tenure as a member of a senior leadership team.
Strategic thinking skills and planning abilities
Experience with forecasting and reporting.
Experience managing a CRM system
