The Dish Department Manager guide and direct the Dish Team in carrying out objectives and orders for clientele. The position reports to the VP of Operations and is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the Woburn dish department location.

This management position places a strong emphasis on teamwork and works with employees to ensure that they are adhering to their schedules, performing the work that is assigned to them, and that all necessary work is performed in an excellent manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary duty of the Dish Department Manager is to manage and oversee the Dish Department. Duties, tasks and achievements include but are not limited to the following:

· Supervise the day to day operations of the Department

· Train new employees on proper Departmental procedures

· Conduct performance management of employees

· Pack items that are needed for specific events

· Coordinate employee break and lunch times

· Assist in the creation of weekly employee schedules

· Assign employees to tasks for the day

· Ensure the fulfillment of daily orders

· Oversee the collaboration of managers interacting with the Sales team to create and fill last-minute orders

· Troubleshoot and resolve Departmental issues

· Collaborate with Department Managers and Supervisors to create more efficient processes and procedures

· Meet monthly/quarterly/annual operational measures

· Develop and maintain the necessary workforce to accomplish daily goals in a productive and efficient manner

· Regularly meet with the Dish Department Manager to review weekly operations activities, progress on goals, and the status of all operational performances

· Maintenance of the Department as needed

· Respectful interactions with multi-lingual team, internal customers, Leaders and clients

· Follow and give direction to safely perform all tasks assigned

· Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must be able to report to work as scheduled

· Must be able to work long days as necessary to complete work

· The commitment to work the hours that the job requires, particularly during seasonally peak times of the year in order to accomplish all responsibilities

· Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 pounds

· Must be able to work in team environment and be willing to follow the directions of the Department Manager

· Strong organizational skills

· Effective communication skills

· Must be professional in appearance and behavior

· Must be willing to perform tasks as assigned in the a safe and conscientious a manner, respectful of co-workers, customer and PEAK property
