We are looking for a very Senior-level hands-on IT engineer who will add expertise to our growing managed services and contract IT business. The successful candidate will be experienced working with the latest versions of Microsoft Windows Server 2016, Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, Office 365 and Exchange deployments, virtualized computing and storage using VMware or Hyper-V, networking and network security. They will demonstrate expertise in Windows server and end-user operating systems. The successful candidate will be a problem-solver, able to diagnose and repair issues with hardware and software. They should be able to work independently with the IT team and customers to assure customer satisfaction.

Technical Qualifications:

  • Degree in a field related to information systems management or technology, and a minimum of 5 years applied experience.
  • Recent certifications in one or more of the following;
    • CCNA or better
    • MCSE
    • VCP, VCAP, VCDX
    • CompTIA Security +
    • CompTIA Network +
  • Knowledge of the latest Windows workstation and server operating systems.
  • Working experience with setting up and maintaining Azure AD and Intune.
  • Working Experience with setting up and maintaining Exchange 2013/2016 and Office 365.
  • Creating and managing Active Directory objects – Users, Computers, OUs and Group Policies.
  • Working experience with Microsoft and VMware virtualization technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Layer 2 networks, Layer 3 networking knowledge preferred.
  • Linux and Mac experience.

General

  • Must be able to independently handle complex technical problems and meet contracted service level goals.
  • Ability to diagnose, remedy and repair both hardware and software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team or independently to complete projects.
  • Document work performed and time spent on tasks.
  • Ability to work and communicate professionally with customers and business associates.
  • Current California driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
  • Must be neat and presentable.

Work Hours: M-F 8:00AM-5:00PM, rotating on-call weekend and holiday schedule, occasional planned projects outside of normal work hours.
