We are currently seeking a self-starter with a knack for creative problem solving. The ideal Project Manager will display a strong work ethic and is a committed team member who works collaboratively to deliver high-value, strategic project management to our client base.
The successful candidate will have responsibilities and duties that will include (but not limited to):
Make strategic recommendations to clients based on understanding business needs, data analysis and subject matter expertise.
Oversee the strategy and planning for key accounts.
Look for opportunities to expand client’s bottomline energy savings.
Facilitate client meetings and workshops to review design processes and strategy.
Reviewing property information collected by our account managers and property auditors, noting errors and missing information.
Working with account managers to ensure timely delivery.
Manage and produce work across the lifecycle of the project such as, designing and writing content for executive-facing presentation decks, building leadership team agendas, writing change business cases, building strategic planning approaches.
Direct client teams, ensuring development of client-ready work product and presentations. Review and oversee all account processes to ensure the team is completing work of high qualify. Provide feedback and coaching.
Quickly and accurately inputting proposal information, complying with utility standards.
Communicating with both clients and utility inspectors regarding the status of current proposals.
Multitude of administrative tasks as assigned.
Work cross-functionally across the company.
Review program budgets and schedules, maintain budget and schedule adherence, develop corrective actions to identify risks.
Communicate and ensure compliance with program requirements.
Develop new processes to ensure timely execution of all projects.
Project Manager and the Project management team is responsible and accountable for ensuring execution of all energy efficient projects and review of current and future infrastructure programs consistent with the company’s obligations under funding awards/agreements over the entire life of such programs. Additionally, program deliverables including calendars, cross-project dependencies, risk analysis, daily troubleshooting, and clear and constant communication of statuses.
This position requires experience communicating across audiences, effectively understanding and utilizing escalation paths, and updating customer, management, stakeholders & appropriate channels.
The successful candidate for the Project Manager will have demonstrated a capacity for excelling in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment, and for motivating team members who are not under her/his direct supervision.
BA or BS in a similar or related field.
2+ years of people management experience.
2+ years of relevant or applicable experience.
2+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Projects and experience with Gantt charts.
2+ years demonstrating passion for sustainability.
2+ years of applicable program/project management experience preferably for either a construction, sustainability or technology company.
5+ years of client facing experience.
Demonstrated success in the simultaneous delivery of multiple projects and programs.
Highly developed organization and planning skills; verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of energy efficiency, LED lighting is a plus but not required.
Extremely detail oriented.
Self-motivated with a passion for delivering results through teams, along with an ability to influence up and down an organization
Knowledge and experience with a wide variety of project management approaches and methodologies.
Proficiency with a wide range of project management tools -- communication tools, and standard Office tools including Excel.
