Applications Engineer III - OMS

What will you be doing?
  • Lead development responsibility for Sterling 7 and Sterling 9 OMS and catalog components
  • Convert billing codes to Catalog SKUs and create CPQ Rules
  • Own OMS architecture for the enterprise, wholesale, and residential channels
  • Ensure the designed solution is aligned with performance and non-functional requirements
  • Lead the design and development of reusable artifacts across the life-cycle phases of an OMS implementation

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
  • At least 5 years of experience in solution design, development and delivery custom solutions
  • At least 3 years of development experience in Sterling OMS Platform Version 7 & above
  • Strong understanding of JDBC, Servlets, SOA Architecture, Web Services, JMS messaging, XML, XSLT, XPath, REST, JSON
  • Strong understanding of PDF electronic signature technical aspects
  • Prior experience exposing Sterling OMS functionality via APIs and Web Services
  • Experience using tools such as Jenkins, GIT, SVN, JIRA, Maven
  • At least 2 years of experience designing and delivering order management and fulfillment solutions in Telecom Industry


Preferred additional skills (not essential)
  • Working knowledge of TIBCO
  • Working knowledge of SIGMA
  • Working knowledge of Pega
  • Knowledge of Synchronous or STI like aggregator framework
  • Knowledge of DPI, AS400, RPG
