Summary of Change Management Consultant (Contractor) Role:
  • You must be local to Los Angeles Area and available 100% as a full-time contractor for this opportunity
  • You will be part of an existing Nimble Consulting Team (Training and Change Management)
  • For this role, you will initially report to the Nimble change lead for a large-scale transformational effort (deployment of devices, multiple applications and process to 1000+ users).
  • Over the course of a planned transition period, you will assume the Change Lead role, with approval from the Nimble lead and clients.
  • You must be local to Los Angeles Area and available 100% as a full-time contractor for this opportunity
  • Project Location: Downtown Los Angeles
  • Project Travel: You will need to travel to offices in larger LA area to meet with end users and stakeholders as necessary
  • Duration: March 2020 - March 2021
To be considered, you must:
  • Be onsite with the project team (location: downtown Los Angeles)
    • As a local contractor, able to be on site 4-5 days a week at client location.
    • In addition, requires travel to the clients' offices in larger Los Angeles area
  • Have strong client references (be able to provide 2 recent client references)
  • Show and speak to samples of your work (deliverables) during the interview as it relates to your experience with this role
  • Be able to integrate within the existing Nimble Consulting team as part of this effort and any other vendor partners to Nimble Consulting
  • Be able to pick up quickly on process flows (gap analysis) and technical requirements and workflow changes for device and technology implementation effort across a wide variety of roles
  • Be flexible on 1099 vs. Temporary W2 status as required by the opportunity
 
Requirements:
  • You are an independent consultant with a minimum of 10 years of external consulting experience
  • Within or in addition to the 10 years of consulting experience, you have at least 7 years serving in an organizational change management role- as an external consultant.
  • You have a history of working with other clients through your own business or status as an independent contractor.
  • Demonstrated experienced with leading and owning change management deliverables, communications planning, communications development and delivery
  • Experience working on technology implementations and working directly with the affected end users at all stages of a software development lifecycle,
  • Exposure to, and understanding of, designing end user support models and adoption metrics, etc.;
  • Can drive change management and communications deliverables with minimal guidance.
  • You can analyze business and end-user needs and develop and execute on:
    • Case for change
    • As-Is and To-Be Gap analysis (Org, Process, technology)
    • Stakeholder analysis and impact assessment.
    • Development of change management plans and adoption metrics.
    • Developing Adoption metrics
    • Developing end user support model for technology implementations
    • Developing Communications (email, presentations, project website, FAQs).
    • Survey development and analysis as well as measuring adoption of change
    • Identifying and documenting process changes as they relate to affected roles.
  • Ability to work seamlessly with the Nimble Consulting team to provide consistent client service – this translates to aligning both to the larger client scope and to the Nimble brand.
  • Excellent writing skills with demonstrated ability to research content, work with Subject Matter Experts, and present complex information clearly for decision-making or informing users of upcoming changes.
  • Technically adept with standard software for everyday work: Microsoft project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, screen capture, Survey tools, SharePoint, Outlook and O365 (website management and document management).
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills; able to work in diverse teams
 
Preference given to candidates who possess:
  • Experience working at or with management consulting firms on large-scale projects (PWC, Deloitte, Gartner, Accenture, etc.).
  • Process mapping experience: able to review and as necessary edit process maps and flow diagrams using Visio or PowerPoint.
  • Professional Certifications such as: PMP, Agile, ProSci certification, Being First (or other change management coursework),
