The Project Management position is accountable for the planning and execution of comprehensive portfolio projects, mostly mid- to large-sized projects, focused on clinical and revenue cycle systems within the program. Assigns projects to multiple direct-report Project Managers and oversees the Resource Manager who directly manages the analysts and other matrix-report resources doing the work of the projects. This position is responsible for establishing, implementing, developing and controlling the best practices for IT project management throughout the team. This includes defining and documenting all policies and processes of project lifecycles in order to deliver these projects according to plan and within budget. S/he will also create formal methodologies for defining project key performance metrics and allocating resources. Also is responsible for mentoring the project managers, mentoring other staff in project best practices, and directing the overall team in the absence of the director.


- Bachelor's Degree

- 5-7 years of hospital IT project management experience

- Effective use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
