Newton Consulting has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Recruiter who will work to find great candidates for positions across the U.S. and international locations. At times, these positions will be difficult to fill roles that require heavy candidate sourcing. Experience with generating candidate leads through creative internet sourcing, cold calling, networking, and other methods will be keys to success in this role. In addition to identifying candidates, the recruiter will work with hiring managers and HR business partners to ensure success through the entire full life-cycle recruiting process from phone screen through background checking and the employment offer.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of the industry and company in order to fully grasp business requirements and develop strategies for recruitment of active and passive candidates
  • Conduct thorough candidate phone screens in order to pass along high quality candidates for manager review
  • Leverage professional associations, social networks, online resources, employee referrals, and personal network in order to source and hire top talent
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for consideration in current and future roles
  • Use Boolean searches, sourcing tools, and other emerging technology to identify and engage potential candidates
  • Conduct strategy sessions with HR Business Partner and the hiring manager prior to opening requisitions
  • Update applicant tracking system throughout the process to keep candidate status accurate (Taleo experience preferred)

Requirements:

  • 3+ years full life-cycle corporate recruiting experience with knowledge of all position types and levels (including professional, technical, non-technical, college-level, etc.)
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Kenexa BrassRing, Taleo Enterprise, or similar corporate/enterprise recruiting technologies
  • Proven experience with sourcing tools and techniques such as online social networking, traditional networking, Boolean searches, and referrals
  • Demonstrated candidate management, relationship building, and negotiation skills
  • Proven experience developing and implementing successful recruitment strategies
  • Strong computer, internet, cold calling, candidate relationship management and network sourcing skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
