Our client is one of Pittsburgh’s oldest continually operating manufacturers. Their architectural division offers cast plaques, photographic reproductions, etched plaques, cast and cut letters, statuary, and color signage.

The Inside Sales Manager will be a new position in the Architectural division and will be responsible for growing a territory as well as building a new internal sales department. The position will be selling our client's Architectural Products and be focused on existing customers, uncovering new customers, as well as uncovering new markets and channels for products.

This Inside Sales Manager reports to the National Sales Manager or President, Architectural Products.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to develop customer relationships via telecommunications.
  • Initiate 30-40 telephone calls per day to new and existing accounts for the purpose of building business relationships and growing sales.
  • Works directly with CSR’s and regional managers in a unified team approach to uncover opportunities and recognize revenue growth.
  • Works with Marketing and the Leadership to team to understand the strategic direction that Architectural Products is striving for.
  • Ability to learn new products quickly and identify the real features and benefits for the customer.
  • Writes the script that will be used in each of the calls. Modifies this script as necessary.
  • Create sales presentations unique to the customer or market opportunity.
  • Ability to price and quote products to the customer.
  • Utilizes Salesforce.com to report on all sales activity.
  • Trains and supports CSR’s during their calling schedule to further develop their outbound calling skill level.
  • Recruits, hires and trains a team of inside sales representatives.
  • Uncover new marketing opportunities and create plans to penetrate these areas.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university with over 7 years, up to and including 10 years experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com.
  • Proven results of building relationships via telecommunication.
