Quality Assurance / Mortgage Loan Servicing Representative

NEFCU seeks ambitious team members to grow along with the organization. The Loan Servicing Department is an evolving and integral part of the NEFCU team. Working as a team player, the Loan Servicing Representative (aka Quality Assurance & Secondary Marketing Servicing Representative) will assist his/her co-workers throughout the Credit Union and contribute to a friendly and cooperative working environment. This individual must be organized, accurate, possess good communication skills, and display initiative in handling their daily functions. In addition this individual must demonstrate tact when dealing with members. He/she should continually look to improve and cross-sell products and services and look to refine work flows. Responsibilities include:

•File preparation for all first mortgages on the Miser system
•Funding disbursement for all first mortgages
•Paying and closing in-house accounts including mortgages, home equities, and lines of credit
•Setting up and paying of homeowners insurance policies, including communication with vendors for policy updates
•Proficient in Lending and Secondary Marketing practicing
•Well-versed in Secondary Marketing Loan delivery processes
•Ability to recognize and improve system processes
•Handling member inquiries while adhering to NEFCU exceptional quality service standards

Position Requirements
•Minimum of three years of experience in Lending and Servicing
•Minimum three years Servicing and Secondary Marketing experience
•Possess independent judgment, function with minimum supervision, have a positive attitude, and impart a team player mentality
•Well versed in Microsoft Word and Excel
•Detail oriented, excellent analytical skills, aptitude for figures, excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and computer/Internet savvy.
•College degree preferred
