he developer will work with business process owners to understand the business need and develop technical solutions that integrate existing and future applications into the organization's information systems. The ideal candidate must be proficient with Microsoft .NET framework and have extensive knowledge of C#. This individual is also responsible for coordination of the testing that is required before development programs are moved to production. The person must be able to work independently or as part of a team. Proven communication and problem-solving skills are critical to successful performance in this role.
Understanding and analyzing complex requirementsD
evelop and deploy high quality software solutions in a .NET framework, using C#, MVC and SQL database tools.
Provides innovative thinking to determine solutions and takes appropriate action steps to implement solutions to meet business needs
Provides reasonable and accurate time estimates for tasks and consistently meet deadlines
Create unit test cases and apply these against developed software to ensure quality
Debug software and fix defects uncovered during the testing process
Work with other developers, managers, technical operations team members and business process owners to ensure quality and the successful rollout of new applications or features
Provide post-release software and application support, including incident reporting
Learn new technologies as needed to successfully perform these duties
Help define and evolve development standards, guidelines, procedures, processes and metrics
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required, or equivalent work experience is acceptable
3-5 years of C# development experience working in a development and production environment
The person must understand databases, database relationships, and must be fluent in SQL Server.
Experience with Fujitsu OpenFT file sharing protocol, MS BizTalk, MS TFS, SAP, Telerik Premium Collection for .NET and Z-Option GLSU a plus
Experience with Microsoft web publishing technologies is a benefit. SharePoint and MCMS would be helpful.
Agile/Scrum development experience a plus requirements.
Ability to quickly understand/evaluate business and end user requirements and translate these requirements into technical solutions
Effectively evaluate and incorporate a data integrity strategy into all designs
Ability to work on multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities to meet business requirements
Strong analytical skills
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
