Junior Sales Associate

Job Description

Morningside Translations is an international consulting firm offering a variety of foreign language support services to Fortune 500 companies, multinational corporations, law firms and educational institutions. Morningside’s primary services include Document Translation, Interpretation and Localization Solutions, and large-scale Foreign Language Document Review as well as other language-related services.
Morningside is currently hiring a junior level sales associate.The entry level sales associate is responsible for acquiring new qualified leads through various methods of direct outreach: telephone sales, face-to-face meetings with prospective clients, and strategic marketing efforts. The sales associate is also responsible for creating and managing a client portfolio through prospect and client meetings and regular follow up. Junior Sales Associates report directly to the Senior Sales Manager.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing an effective understanding of Morningside’s products and services
  • Promoting Morningside’s competitive advantage in the translations industry
  • Researching and analyzing industries in order to identify new business opportunities
  • Acquiring new business through telephone sales
  • Establishing and maintaining client relationships
  • Consulting with the Sales Manager to follow up with customers and identify new qualified leads
  • Working knowledge of our contact database, invoicing system, and project management software
  • Becoming familiar with pricing models
  • Communicating with project managers to examine job details, project goals, to meet and exceed client expectations
  • Preparing estimates in a timely manner
  • Attending and participating in weekly department meetings
  • Identifying and resolving client concerns
  • Representing Morningside at industry conferences to network, acquire industry education, build new leads and sustain current client relationships
  • Attending client meetings and presentations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong computer skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong ability to multitask
  • Foreign language skills a plus
