Modmarket - Farm Fresh Eateries is a hip, modern, farm-to-table, fast-casual chain of four restaurants with VERY rapid growth plans. Our existing restaurants are extremely busy ($2MM+) and we're looking to add talented & experienced General Manager candidates to our team. We have three more leases signed for openings this summer & fall, and are exploring several remote markets for expansion in 2014.
We opened our first restaurant in Boulder 3.5 years ago and we were recently featured in Nation's Restaurant News. The reason we're creating such a buzz is because our concept is very compelling. Here are our four pillars:
Sustainability - We want Modmarket and those who eat here to be around for many years. To ensure this, we take care of our guests, our team, and our environment.
Real Food - Modmarket isn’t about health food—it’s about real food. We define real food as delicious combinations of simple, easy-to-identify whole ingredients that provide sound nutrition. Modmarket provides a balanced menu to ensure that whatever guests choose will taste great and benefit their overall health. Our menu is seasonal and includes neapolitan-style pizzas, toasted ciabatta & whole-grain sandwiches, fresh salads, from-scratch soups and homestyle plates.
Transparency - Modmarket is open for all our guests to see everything we do. We have an open kitchen and share the nutritional/menu information both on our website and on the receipts. We do this because we do things the right way, and have nothing to hide.
Food as an Experience - Modmarket is as much about theatre as it is about food. We believe basic fare can be made dynamic by allowing guests to interact with those preparing their meals and by allowing them to “see behind the curtain” of everything that goes on in a Modmarket location. We invest in compelling, modern restaurant design and use real materials; beetle-kill wood, custom tile, high-end furniture, and hip music.

HERE'S WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Passion - you need to be emotionally engaged in the quality of the food, the cleanliness of the restaurant, and focused on the people you're surrounded with. You must possess a drive and personality that brings energy and enthusiasm to work EVERY day.
Leadership - you need to have several years of General Manager experience in a high-volume restaurant environment; leading & developing a diverse team. Training General Manager and Multi-Unit Management experience is a plus and will command higher base salaries.
Development - you must have a track record of investing in your teams; leveraging their strengths and holding them to high standards.
Innovation - we are a young concept; we need people who are willing to work hard to identify opportunities, propose and implement change, and drive Modmarket towards predictability and consistency to maximize our potential.
