Due to demand for our product, we are expanding. We are a dynamic, strong-growth, company and we have an immediate opening for a Plant Manager in our mid-size minerals processing facility. The Plant Manager is a dynamic leader who is responsible for providing leadership, planning & direction to the plant operations. Reporting to the President, you will be responsible for the day-to-day plant operations to include maintenance, utilities, engineering, safety, chemical production, and quality/lab manager. You will ensure plant performance meets divisional goals and meets or exceeds customer requirements. You will develop and maintain a favorable employee relations environment and work with staff members on their growth and development to ensure that employees feel encouraged and motivated to contribute at their full potential. As Plant Manager, you will ensure the plant demonstrates continuous improvement in meeting customer requirements and world class standards, as well as in maintaining plant operational efficiency through effective labor utilization, waste reduction, machine design improvement, and material utilization. You must understand and implement ISO requirements and philosophies. You are accountable for justification and cost control of capital expenditures. You should have experience driving performance in at least a $5 million, 300 employee+ environment, plant expansions, large capital projects, and actively participate on short and long-term strategic planning,

BS degree in Engineering. You should have 8+ years of leadership/management experience in a minerals processing environment. You should have knowledge of minerals processing process improvements, ISO experience, tooling, project costing methods, bill of material structure, and computer skills. You should have project management or technical leadership experience. You should be results oriented. Must be willing to get out from behind a desk and communicate directly to all levels in the plant. You must have the ability to deliver positive energy to the employees.
US or Canadian or Australian Citizens with experience in American industrial minerals processing (or industrial companies with similar pieces of process equipment) only please.
