As a member of the inside Regional Account Sales team, the Regional Account Manager will be responsible for prospecting and developing new opportunities in an MHO targeted database within Southern California and potentially other designated markets. The R.A.M will focus on building relationships, revenue, and rapport with up to 1200 contacts at a time while keeping track of potential sales, leads, and opportunities. This position is an entry-level position with opportunities for mobility to grow within the company.
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails
Understanding the needs and expectations of the customers and provide relevant solutions
Close sales and achieve monthly quotas
Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
Establishing contacts & developing relationships with prospects, recommending solutions to fit their needs
Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance, researching and recommending new opportunities
Identifies new markets for prospect penetration by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
Working with the sales team to maximize revenue and profitability
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
Must possess innate communications skills, proven sales ability, and a motivation to succeed in an adverse sales environment
Proven knowledge of learned skills revolving around the sales process (Seller vs buyer), (open-ended questions), (reversing), (take-away close), (consultative sales, etc.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a B2B sales role- B2B experience preferred
Must possess a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and insurance
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people of different titles and experience levels
Must be able to develop strong rapport with potential clients and partners
Self-starter that does not need constant supervision to be effective
Must possess a strong sense of professional communication in all sales environments
Must have cold calling experience to succeed in this role and are able to handle different challenges
Self-driven to succeed with the ability to create opportunities from cold, raw data
