Overall Purpose of Job:
Create, (and assist users with) current state evaluations, business specifications, flow diagrams, analysis and requirements design, supporting technology, supplying business knowledge, functional recommendations and evaluations as required. (75%) 1
Coordinate and conduct tests and program implementations, test assignments thoroughly and confirm the results with business users. (15%) 2
Provide functional support and guidance to developers, collaborating to satisfy the technical vision while balancing functional usability needs (e.g., design reviews). (5%) 3
Experience of the financial industry, in some or all of following products: OTC (Interest Rate, Credit or FX), foreign exchange, structured financial products and risk management. Experience in front/back office processing flows and/or Regulatory Reporting. Knowledge of new regulations , compliance and Market Risk is essential as it is related to Dodd Frank Regulations and Clearing.
Must proactively communicate and collaborate with multiple sources to analyze needs, constraints and functional requirements.
Additionally, experience with use cases (UML) and/or dataflow diagrams, understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), project lifecycle, code documentation, databases, etc.
Education:University degree, or equivalent, with at least 7 years financial industry experience, working with front, middle or back office.
