eChannels Manager - Marriott International (12001DPJ)

Support the region in maximizing exposure with corporate contracted eChannels through Account Management. Negotiate online marketing campaigns and work closely with corporate eChannels department to implement proper strategies.
§ Assist, consult, and direct the Southwestern Region related to electronic commerce marketing channels, and opportunities.
§ Monitor corporate approved eChannel companies’ website(s) and ensure that rates are loaded correctly and hotels are receiving maximum exposure through merchandizing.
§ Involve Revenue Team on an on-going basis and as needed to facilitate eChannel needs.
§ Leverage eChannels marketing and promotional opportunities to drive need-time business for dedicated hotels and resorts.
§ Develop annual strategic plans that maximizes revenue potential across eChannels for individual hotels and resorts, in collaboration with DMS (i.e. utilize eChannels merchandising opportunities, global points of sale to drive longer length of stay and fill need time periods)
§ Build and maintain strong relationship with local market eChannels managers to maximize merchandising and advertising opportunities for the hotels throughout the year
§ Work with hotel’s revenue management to ensure strategy is updated regularly as business demands change throughout the year, as well as ensure sales strategy rates are loaded to maintain parity across all channels, as well as opaque package
§ Monitor and evaluate eChannels performance via available tracking tools - (i.e. eCommerce Evaluation, MRDW, tableau reporting, Market Share reports, etc.)
§ Maintain up-to-date hotel content and photography on all eChannels sites for hotels of responsibilities
§ Support regional pull-through of corporate eChannels initiatives/programs, as well as maintain content and packages on gomarriottvacations.com
§ Represent hotels/markets on monthly corporate eChannels team calls
§ Interface with Marketing & eCommerce Managers, Revenue Management and Sales Leaders to position properties properly on eChannels
§ Secure ongoing complimentary merchandising opportunities for designated resorts.
§ Ensure that all rates codes are loaded correctly in eFAST.
§ Ensure property information is displayed correctly and effectively on web sites (content management).
§ Provide detailed market intelligence by account on a monthly basis.
§ Strong history of implementing eCommerce projects including online marketing, media/advertising opportunities, listing and promotional exposures, and web site development from concept stage through completion working with appropriate vendors.
§ Must be a creative thinker, detail oriented, extremely organized, self-motivated and have superior initiative.
§ Have the ability to develop and maintain strong business partner relationships.
§ Excellent writing, communication and public speaking skills.
§ Ability to communicate clearly and resolve internal and external customer issues that may arise from promotions in the market.
§ Knowledge of hospitality industry and travel industry segment relative to planning targeted promotions seasonally based on need times for business.
§ Ability to establish systems, track promotions and provide reports.
§ Computer literate and full understanding of web hospitality marketing channels.
§ Strong knowledge of web browsers, corporate intranet, and the internet.
§ Knowledge of MARSHA, SFA and other Marriott proprietary programs.
- College Degree
§ Internal marketing department eCommerce project manager.
