Role:
The Account Director works with strategy, creative, technical and production teams to lead client’s integrated marketing programs. Critical success factors include: confident and competent leadership, strategic planning, creative thinking ability, program management across a broad range of digital and traditional communication channels, and proactive communication to both internal team members and external clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as group leader on several accounts and as the senior-level client liaison on select brands
  • Acquire thorough knowledge of client’s businesses, sales processes and distribution channels so that marketing obstacles and opportunities can be anticipated
  • Oversee planning and development of turnkey marketing campaigns in accordance with client’s objectives and budgets, including:
    • Marketing Strategy – collaborate with and often lead brand strategy teams to define market opportunity/approach, brand positioning, identity and communication plans
    • Digital Experience – lead discovery sessions and work with internal digital project management teams
    • Communication Programs – manage processes for the development of digital and traditional collateral, advertising, direct, search, event and social media campaigns
  • Set benchmarks, analyze program effectiveness and oversee key metrics for determining marketing ROI
  • Oversee and often develop compensation agreements, ensuring that agency profitability goals are met
  • Supervise, train, motivate and provide equal opportunity to team members to ensure high level of performance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years experience in marketing/advertising agency or client-side with heavy emphasis in digital
  • Skilled marketing generalist, adept at leading a wide range of digital and traditional marketing solutions
  • Advanced verbal, written and client communication skills, analytical thinking, personal organization and interpersonal dynamics
  • Attention to detail, action-oriented and able to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
  • Outstanding research and analytical skills
  • Experience overseeing multiple programs simultaneously and/or multiple client accounts
  • “Fresh thinking” is a MUST
  • Ability to travel
  • Resourceful and a pleasure to work with
