The successful candidate will have a strategic vision and a history of applying their strategies to execution with the outcome of delivering and maintaining competitive advantage in operational capabilities. The ideal candidate would have an engineering background with a strong understanding of extrusion injection and molds and materials. An appetite for continual improvements to processes, costs, and efficiencies.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Oversees business relationships direct with owners while uncovering new strategic partners and vendors.
  • Create, foster, grow and maintain business relationships with all stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Negotiates Prices
  • Supports Supply Chain staff
  • Works with Supply Chain – Forecasts and Load In
  • Expands 3rd party companies as needed / Growth
  • Works with Raw Material Suppliers
  • Sources suppliers and deals directly with owners, where possible
  • Negotiates prices and volumes, derived from Supply Chain Forecasts
  • Suppliers range from North America, Europe and “where low costs allow”
  • Supply Chain / Procurement place all PO’s and manage movements / deliveries
  • Strong understanding of End-to-End processes (from order to sale including solutioning, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, testing, packaging, and customer service processes).
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Understanding of methodologies and techniques to enhance manufacturing operations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate messages and adjust for different audiences.

Plants & Processes:

• Understands all Multy Home production processes

• Supports Manufacturing as needed

• Supports Material Needs

• Is involved in Business decisions regarding equipment and needs

• Create and manage relationships of new and upcoming pipeline of 3rd party manufacturing partnerships.

Engineering Department

• Supports Engineering of New Products – as well as Design and within our Abilities

• Works with stakeholders on new developments

• Reviews needs for New Products from “Engineering to MH Plants” and or to 3rd party

• Negotiates with Tooling Suppliers to obtain Best Prices

• Negotiates with 3rd Party Companies to obtain Best Prices and financial gain.

Education & Accreditations

  • Post-secondary education (College or University degree in engineering preferred) or demonstrated competency through work experience.
  • Strong Knowledge or experience with injection molding and extrusion.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in both high complexity/low volume and low complexity/high volume manufacturing operations
