The General Manager will be responsible for maximizing profit through service efficiencies and has responsibility for the entire operational unit across functional areas and will be accountable for budget, staffing, and operational results. Achieve sales goals and EBIT targets
Develop capacity planning models for manpower and equipment while resolving any constraints
Solve technical problems including improvement of tools and fixtures, equipment failures, and manufacturing process problems
Drive productivity and on-time delivery (OTD)
Lead a team of Cell Leaders by providing leadership and direction with an emphasis on team building through effective communications
Support Continuous Improvement (ACE) efforts
Support all EH&S efforts and complying with all applicable regulatory and company EHS rules
Support the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed safety goals
Develop key personnel to maintain continued organizational strength and succession
Demonstrate ethical leadership
Requires a minimum of 5 years experience in Aftermarket services, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
10 years of experience that includes supervision of production workforce with validated leadership skills and experience; managing both hourly and salaried employees, and can demonstrate significant leadership experience in a
Proven P&L experience
Consistent track record of establishing and developing a company culture focused on positive employee relations, as well as demonstrated leadership experience, in a related role such as leading a production site.
Ability to represent the company in the local & regional community, developing political & community networks
