Office atmosphere:
Very casual semi-business attire (jeans, shorts, t-shirts are okay). Occasionally, we may have a barbeque, taco day, or root beer floats just to say thanks. Our pet friendly office in Venice includes Daphne, our current resident dog. Our general office hours in Venice and our facility in Rancho Dominguez are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Thank you.About the position....The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of national and international marketing programs designed to drive increases in traffic, sales, product awareness, engagement, future interaction, and loyalty. Possessing a passion for fitness, experience in athletics, or group fitness is an absolute plus! This position reports to the Director of Marketing.The primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Facilitate the development and execution of annual marketing plans for assigned brands by obtaining buy-in from key stakeholdersCreate omni-channel promotions incorporating traditional, digital, social, and experiential tacticsTrack and evaluate market progress using data to inform valuable recommendations for future executionsLiaise with Brand Managers, Creatives, Sales, Educational Representatives, Master Instructors and other departments to enact measureable marketing programsReporting – generation, creation, analysis and data-mining as neededServe as advocate and brand steward for the needs of the businessProject/Event ManagementSupervise logistical, administrative and communications aspects of event planning, community relations, publicity and local advertising for the designated projectsDirect logistics, marketing channel mix, email, social, media buying, media relations and ad designDevelop and execute regional programs designed to maximize sales growth and increase customer traffic through community outreachServe as a representative of MDA with community organizations to cultivate existing business and generate new opportunitiesConceptualize and coordinate special events and community relations projects, increasing corporate visibility through print and community marketing targeted to specific groupsBudget ManagementPitch, track, and justify budget expenses for regional marketing programsEnsure all expenses are within budgetMonthly budget review to ensure all expense is submitted in a timely mannerEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in business/marketing or equivalent work experiences5 years marketing experience and/or project management2 years in fitness (preferred)The qualified candidate will possessExcellent communication skills both written and verbalAmbition, strong work ethic, willingness to learnAbility to take ownership of assigned tasksInternal drive and strong problem solving abilitiesAbility to work in team environment and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organizationAbility to influence othersAbility to manage upwards and handle ambiguity – solution orientedStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at one timeStrong comforts in quantitative, qualitative, and creative aspects of marketing including copywritingOther:This role may require flexible hoursOccasional travel
