The Position: BRAND MANAGER - Chicago, IL

Chomps, the Better-for-You, Whole30 approved meat snack brand, is looking for a Brand Manager to join our team and become part of our growth journey. The Brand Manager will sit in our Chicago office and play an integral role in CHOMPS’ marketing strategy, implementation, & creative efforts.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate has experience in the CPG or Food & Beverage space. The Brand Manager should have a track record of setting and implementing cross channel marketing strategy, including Shopper Marketing. Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) are essential. Must be able and willing to wear multiple hats, take ownership of all marketing efforts and do what it takes to get the job done.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Driving annual end to end brand / marketing planning process

  • Create & implement marketing strategy (traditional & digital) for the Chomps Brand

  • Managing effective execution of marketing plans & campaigns

  • Manage and allocate marketing budget

  • Lead creative direction & branding efforts (brand identity, mission & values, positioning, and voice)

  • Manage 3rd party agencies

  • Identifying growth opportunities by utilizing category & consumer insights

  • Defining key consumer target segments & point of brand differentiation

  • Cultivating partnership marketing & opportunities + identifying new creative ways to leverage brands

  • Conceiving, executing, and leading influencer and brand engagement campaigns

  • Shopper marketing strategy and implementation. Focus on drive-to-shelf.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of marketing / branding experience (preferably in CPG / Food & Beverage)

  • Experience with traditional & digital marketing (Ecommerce experience)

  • BA/BS Degree

  • Strong strategic skills with some experience in annual business planning

  • Ability to create high level strategy & willingness to help execute

  • Genuine intellectual curiosity, strong interpersonal skills and ability to build diverse relationships

  • Energy, hustle, and initiator

Compensation:
