Managed service firm located in Austin looking for a full-time, customer service-focused L1 engineer to join our services team. The candidate we are looking for will have some experience working traditional IT service desk tickets in a team environment. We pride ourselves on building long lasting partnerships with our clients as well as creating one of the best team environments to learn new skills and grow with the company. We work from home, exclusively.
• Provide remote and occasional onsite IT support to our partners. • Ownership of support tickets from start to finish with an eye on communication excellence. • Collaboration with our support team to insure the best possible outcomes for our partners.

* High School Diploma or equivalent • Attention to detail and great time management skills • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with both coworkers and customers • Must be able to calmly deal with the occasional frustrated customer • Ability to work with little oversight • Ability to follow instructions and take constructive criticism • Wear presentable attire (for onsite requests) and have reliable transportation

Preferred application and platform knowledge: • Mail: Gsuite/Office 365 • Basic understanding of DHCP, DNS • Endpoint OS's (Windows, Mac) • Azure/Active Directory
Would be really great if you have some experience with: • Syncro PSA, ConnectWise, or another form of Remote Management Software •Combo of basic Networking/Storage/Virtualization knowledge • Experience working with Vendor Technical Support* *Vendor familiarity preferred, but not necessary: •Network products: Meraki Ubiquiti Sonicwall •Major manufacturers (HP, Dell, Cisco, etc) • Internet Service Provider interface and support
