Lionce is currently recruiting for an IT Data Security Administrator for a great opportunity with one of our partners in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a contract position with a pay rate up to $45 an hour. For this particular role, our client is only considering either US Citizens or Permanent Residents (either EAD or Green Card).
This position is responsible for data security including the planning, design and implementation of security
measures that safeguard access to the organization’s files and data. This includes operating systems, network,
and applications security. The Security Administrator coordinates application security with various departments
throughout the company.
Performs risk analysis for corporate functional and technical areas in the area of data security.
Assesses and recommends security software to provide enterprise-wide security to data, application and
Consults with and advises other departments in the use of security systems infrastructure.
Completes market assessments on vendor products, packages and services.
Works as part of application, operating and network system project teams to assess security capabilities.
Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing data security and disaster recovery policies and
procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed.
Creates and maintains data security documentation, policies and procedures.
Recommends and enforces technical service level standards and procedures for data security.
Establishes alternative security measures to allow for business to continue while protecting the company’s
Coordinates and ensures adequate and timely resolutions to all audit/compliance issues relating to security
Configure, implement, monitor, and support security software/systems that will help ensure compliance with
regulatory, industry, and corporate policies and procedures. This includes but is not limited to IDS/IPS (Host/
Network/Wireless), secure file transfer, DLP, Full Disk encryption, firewall rule assessments, log management/
correlation, secure password storage/retrieval, Application Whitelisting, vulnerability management, etc.
Investigates and solves breaches of and issues surrounding data security.
Serves as a focal point for user inquiries regarding security systems use and capabilities.
Tracks data security and disaster recovery activity to ensure that problems are solved.
All other duties as assigned.
Approve contracts and purchases in accordance with the non-merchandise procurement policy.
Approve/restrict access to the security infrastructure, including but not limited to: network access, phone
access, application and system access, physical access to the datacenter, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline, or
equivalent work experience required.
5+ years of IT security experience including project management required.
CISSP, CBCP, GIAC, or CRP accreditation preferred.
Working knowledge of all areas of the organization and the ability to develop a clear understanding of the
company’s key functional processes and resources.
Working knowledge of Information Systems in order to assist in the preparation of recovery procedures in

Strong human relations skills to interface with management and staff at all levels within the organization,
vendors of record storage facilities and disaster recovery services
