Lionce is currently recruiting for a Code Configuration Analyst for a great opportunity with one of our partners in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a contract to hire position with a pay rate up to $90,000 plus bonus. For this particular role, our client is only considering either US Citizens or Permanent Residents (either EAD or Green Card).
The Code Configuration Analyst's role is maintenance and control of configuration items, documentation and artifacts related to software development and system delivery. The analyst is responsible for maintaining project software code, inventory and organizing configuration baselines through automated tools and manual processes.
ideally this is CTH - yearly: 54k-87k/ upon hire: eligible for 15% bonus @ target and 12.5% RSA @ target
Essential Job Functions
•Ownership of the build process, including documentation and standards enforcement.
•Administrative ownership of the build software and environment, including installation and upgrade maintenance in a controlled manner.
•Identify potential areas of automation and aid in re-engineering the underlying business processes.
•Responsible for coordination of the turnover of all configuration work upon user sign off.
•Develop test cases and documentation to support configuration changes/updates/additions.
•Coordinate multiple, simultaneous projects and initiatives.
•Responsible for configuration unit testing.
•Unit tests upon development to ensure requirements have been met.
•Perform root cause analysis and issue resolution (support tickets).
•Execute and track test cases and documentation to support configuration changes/updates/additions.
•Responsible for configuration, interface and application testing.
•Responsible for User Acceptance testing and implementation support.
•Bachelor’s degree in computer science
•Two (2) to four (4) years of experience.
•Software configuration management, version control and experience with deployment processes.
•Proven experience in Subversion (SVN) source code management tool.
•Experience and proven capabilities for managing complex source code repositories.
•Experience with build technologies, Maven and Ant preferred. Aware of new technologies in the build technology space, ex., Gradle.
•Experience producing project artifacts to include status reports, business requirements, non-technical design documents, etc.
•Experience in testing based on business and configuration requirements.
•Experience with repository management software preferred (ex. Nexus).
•Experience with Continuous Integration software preferred (ex. Jenkins, Hudson).
•Java code development experience preferred.
•WebLogic Server experience preferred.
•Ability to maintain software configuration data files.
•Working knowledge of system development life cycle processes.
•Exceptional ability to identify and track issues and drive them to a conclusion.
•Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a deadline driven environment with accurate resource and time estimates.
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
