Lionce is currently recruiting for a Application Support Analyst for a great opportunity with one of our partners in Monroeville, PA. This is a full time position with a pay rate up to $55,000 a year. For this particular role, our client is only considering either US Citizens or Permanent Residents (either EAD or Green Card).
The client is currently seeking an Application Support Analyst professional. This position will be responsible for application maintenance and support services to internal and external users of the client's critical business systems and products.
Providing application configuration and maintenance on the organizations critical business systems by becoming an expert on the use of all aspects of these systems.
Delivering support to existing business users and investigating and resolving application errors and data issues.
Implement modifications to existing applications in order to meet the clients' updated requirements when agreed upon.
Implementation and configuration of business reports.
Ensure quality services are delivered and performed to the agreed SLA’s ensuring expectations are achieved or exceeded.
Working with Product Manager in identifying enhancements and system changes based upon interaction with, and gathering feedback from users/customers.
Contribute to the growth of team through displaying professional qualities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to multi-task
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or Associates degree in Computer
Science or related field with 2+ years experience
Strong Microsoft language experience such as VB6, VBA, Visual Basic .Net and C#
Experience using SQL
Experience in XML and related technologies such as XSL, XQuery, XPath, XSD
Basic PC and peripherals hardware knowledge
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
Experience with Commercial Reporting Tools (SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal Reports etc.) or Open Source Reporting Tools (JasperReports, Eclipse BIRT Project, etc.) or
Experience with RDBMS such as SqlServer or Access
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
Strong communications skills and ability to work effectively with customers
Exposure in Object Oriented Design and Programming
Exposure to Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
Experience or domain knowledge working within or supporting environments involved with crime scene investigation, forensics, DNA, trace, property/evidence control or analytical laboratories.
