Provides administrative support to program staff. Responsibilities include all general office functions such as computer literacy, filing, copying, faxing, typing, mailing, and covering phones/reception area as needed. Maintains personnel files and ensures accurate employee data as it changes. Responsible for the enrollment process and tracking system; which includes scheduling interviews, creating enrollment packets, running necessary criminal record checks, etc.
Associate's Degree in Business or Secretarial Science and two years of administrative secretarial experience: additional relevant work experience may substitute for educational requirements on a year to year basis. Excellent organizational, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills are required as well as the ability to use a personal computer and word processing software efficiently and with minimum errors. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (including Word and Access) preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential. Experience in interacting effectively with people with disabilities is preferred. Personal life experience/history relevant to the position is acceptable as a substitute for education and/or work experiences. Looking to hire individual with a disability.
