We are currently searching for a top-performing Sales Estimator to deliver these Key Results for our Sewer Service division:

> Execute the sales process from introduction of services to signing agreements in order to meet booking, conversion and job profitability goals.

> Create trust and value when presenting sewer repair options to homeowners.

> Present our company as the most knowledgeable and professional choice to do the work so convincingly that the homeowners need not look any further.

RESPONSIBILITIES The Sales Estimator will be responsible for converting drain cleaning work and estimate requests into sewer excavations by:

> Developing a daily schedule of productive activity from qualified leads

> Developing community relationships for referral and sales opportunities

> Responding to and initiating telephone contact with potential customers

>Completing camera inspections of main line for customers and accurately diagnosing defects.

> Informing homeowners of what is happening to their sewer main and offering options for repair or replacement.

> Preparing and presenting proposals for main sewer replacements or repair that is specific for the individual homeowner's needs.

> Closing sales and achieving assigned sales performance objectives

>Collaborating with the Excavation team to ensure the job is executed professionally.

> Selling additional services to present customer base and referrals

The ideal candidate will preferably possess 5 years of proven sales experience including 2 years of sales in residential/home services or a related field. A strong business acumen and sales skills are required as well as proven success engaging customers and solving problems.

SEWER SALES ESTIMATOR

DEPARTMENT: Sewer & Excavation Division

REPORTS TO: Director of Sewer & Excavation

SUPERVISES: None

JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The Sewer Sales Estimator is responsible for converting drain cleaning work into sales to meet the division’s set revenue and customer satisfaction goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Execute the sales process from introduction of services to signing agreements in order to meet booking, conversion and job profitability goals Present Len The Plumber as the “industry best” to perform the work by selling the brand and value proposition against the competition Create trust and value when presenting sewer repair options to homeowners. Develop a daily schedule of productive activities from qualified leads Develop community relationships for referral and sales opportunities Respond to and initiate telephone contact with potential customers Complete camera inspections of main line for customers and accurately diagnose defects. Inform homeowners on the state of their sewer main and offer appropriate options for repair or replacement. Prepare and present individualized proposals for main sewer replacements or repair Close sales and achieve assigned sales performance objectives Collaborate with the Excavation team to ensure the job is executed professionally. Sell additional services to present customer base and referrals Meet company target of contacting all leads within 2 hours of receiving them Contact Miss Utility timely, every morning, and hand off all required papers to the crew to complete required work.

Assist with other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Work is performed in the field, in the office, or at customers’ homes

Periodic visits at various branch locations may be required

QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES: Ability to set appropriate expectations for customers regarding scope of work, availability, and landscaping.

Ability to accurately ‘locate’ damaged sewer line to formulate an accurate scope of work

Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization and with customers.

Ability to work professionally under pressure during high-volume work.

Ability to multitask and prioritize (or reprioritize) tasks on very short notice.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Excellent Customer Service skills.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

5+ years proven sales experience required

2+ years of residential/home services experience highly preferred

Strong business acumen required
