As a Staffing Coordinator, you will directly impact our mission by scheduling direct support staff for the clients on your caseload. Manage schedules for approximately 40 clients who participate in NOW, SIL, ROW, SW, & Children's Choice waiver programs
Find and provide staff for new clients as quickly as possible, setting up meet-and-greets with available staff
Identify and match employees with clients based on availability, location, skills, competencies, and abilities
Ensure that clients are staffed for all available hours and that staffing schedules are current and accurate
Review employee timekeeping records to ensure adherence with schedule & address any ongoing issues
Communicate frequently with clients and families regarding schedule changes and to ensure satisfaction
Utilize database system to document schedule changes, notes, and communication with staff and families
Coordinate with Director, Client Care Managers, and HR on a regular basis to discuss any needs or issues regarding clients or employees
Participate in after hours on-call rotation
Comply with all guidelines established by LDH, Medicaid, and LHCL
Promote and market LHCL in the local community within the permissible standards
Model the LHCL values of Compassion, Trust, Integrity, and Accountability
Additional tasks related to staffing as requested
High school diploma required
2 years experience preferred (homecare industry/staffing)
Must satisfactorily pass all required and applicable State & Federal eligibility verifications, including background, driving and other record checks
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and problem solving skills
Able to operate office equipment
Basic addition/subtraction and general analytical skills
Office hours are 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Friday.
