Lawelawe is hiring for an Administrative Assistant that will be responsible for performing a wide range of clerical and administrative tasks to support daily business operations of the organization.

Key responsibilities:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for company representatives to facilitate various administrative task
  • Acting on behalf of and representing senior management as required, including the management of calls, enquiries and requests, expense authorization and sign off on business-related decisions
  • Reporting back to management with detailed and accurate notes
  • Undertaking projects on a regular basis, including event planning
  • Acting as a personal assistant
  • Performing email correspondence
  • Attending meetings and producing follow up notes
  • Sending out contracts for signature
  • Schedule management
  • Organizing travel itineraries
  • Providing line management and support to administration and operations teams, including task delegation

Essential requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent with Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and Outlook
  • Confident working alongside board-level executives and partners
  • Uses initiative with minimal supervision
  • Dedicated to the quality and accuracy of projects from inception to completion
  • Can manage a heavy workload with strict deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Flexible and willing to take on ad-hoc tasks
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
