Your unique role with the company will be to lead functions related to the design and production of thermoformed tooling. You will be expected to lead tool design parts and changes, work with vendors to support tool builds, manage projects and ensure on-time completion, and optimize the tooling process. You will use project management and six sigma methodologies and be part of the team that is turning around the company’s manufacturing culture. We are seeking strong, self starters, that are capable of growing with this company! You will have the ability to lead, motivate and inspire others to perform at a high level every day. You must have experience in thermoformed or plastic molding tool design, preferably packaging.
To be successful in this role:
1+ years’ experience in thermoformed tooling or similar thin gauge packaging
Strong communication skills from the top down and being able to address a team
Proven troubleshooter and problem solver, someone who can stay proactive in tooling related issues
Project Management skills and adhering to a strict timeline
This position will be based in the greater New Haven, CT area. This is a beautiful, coastal city with a lot of outdoor recreational activities, especially in the spring and summer with access to several city beaches!
