Kyle Wright’s Lawn Care is preparing to hire an Operations Coordinator.

An Operations Coordinator must have excellent communication and people skills, with a focus on customer service. System-based, process-oriented thinking is a key to success.
You must successfully be able to:
Assist in resolving customer concerns in all operational and quality control areas
Manage the execution of landscape projects and maintenance activities
Manage safety records and safety compliance of crews and other staff
Assist with work during ice and snow events
Administer and update the scheduling of field staff and customers' work
Make sure all inventory is available and accounted for
Order inventory and supplies for shop use and field use
Manage the quality control process in its entirety
Create systems and processes to increase efficiency
Drive production to efficiency levels set by budget
Assist with hiring field staff employees
Manage time-off requests, staffing levels, accuracy of Employee timesheets
Assist in conflict resolution between staff members
Drive the training of new hires and ongoing training of field staff
Participate in training seminars in all operations areas to further benefit the Company

Job Type: Full-time, Year-round
Salary: $45K - $65K a year dependent upon experience. Those with significant experience would command the top of the range.

Required experience and skills:
1 year of Lawn/Landscape industry experience or experience in a comparable industry
3 years of hands-on management experience in a related field
Proven ability to find and implement solutions for inefficiencies within a company
Proficient in technology, team management, verbal and written communication
Collaboration experience but comfortable working alone or without supervision
Ability to understand landscaping drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials as needed
Understanding of business financial concepts, such as gross sales, margins and markups, expenses control, and profit and loss, etc.
Knowledge of quality control and inventory control
Experience in hiring, training, and scheduling
Demonstrated problem solving/analysis skills
Excellent customer service and client focus
Ability to maintain composure and keep a positive attitude
Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturday work if necessary, and 24-hour on-call availability during seasonal snow or ice events
English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
Required license or certification:
Clean Driver's License and Record, Insurable on the Company’s policy
Associate’s Degree or equivalent educational background (i.e. military or related experience)
Preferred experience and skills:
5 years of prior landscape production management experience
Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices
Experience with pesticide and herbicide application and related chemical components
Preferred license or certification:
NJ Department of Environmental Protection Certified Pesticide Applicator
