The ideal candidate should have 2+ years’ of litigation experience and some experience in scheduling and coordinating all hearings, depos and mediations and general legal assistance. Including but not limited to:
-Following up on deadlines
-Managing an attorney calendar
-Ability to communicate effectively with Judicial Assistants & Opposing Counsel's
Must have strong communication and writing skills and ability to multi-task with tolerance and success.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Drafting pleadings - Independent docket review - Knowledge of the rules of Civil Procedure - Coordinate and schedule appointments with support services, clients, opposing law firms, and courts; - Hire Court Reporters; - Answer Phones
Compensation & benefits:
Competitive hourly pay based upon experience.
Working Hours: Minimum hours required is 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
