Microsoft Dynamics Partner Account Manager

SUMMARY:
The Dynamics Partner Account Manager is responsible for aiding Dynamics ERP partners by providing relevant business information as well as building and maintaining strong relationships. The Dynamics Partner Account Manager will conduct frequent meetings with the partner to ensure partner accountability Partner accountability in setting & achieving marketing & business goals.

BASIC DUTIES:

  • Assistance setting up partner accounts in various Microsoft systems and tools
  • Assistance in aligning exams with solution focus
  • Assistance with new partner Q&A
  • Ensure recruit plan is established and hold partners accountable to hitting milestones
  • Partner accountability in setting & achieving marketing & business goals
  • Focused ROI discussions
  • Ensure marketing proactively to build pipeline
  • Facilitation of partner interactions with various (and appropriate) product, services, marketing groups within Microsoft
  • Route all “out of scope” questions & concerns to appropriate Microsoft teams
  • Pipeline/deal focus with all recruit partners
  • Required GSX opportunity entry for EVERY deal
  • Engage filed SSP/PAM in all strategic & competitive deals
  • Utilize promotions in market to help accelerate and close opportunities

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Microsoft experience or direct Dynamics product sales experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Proven presentation skills, sales and marketing and/or technical trainer experience
  • Experience with online webcast delivery (Lync experience a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and across organizational boundaries
  • Ability to articulate product features, programs, complex licensing, knowledge of competitive products and sales strategies, knowledge of sales channels via phone
  • Must have the ability to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple projects
  • Marketing experience required with a preferred background in working with Microsoft Dynamics products
  • Knowledge of Microsoft’s channel model and experience working with “Partners”
  • Knowledge of complex marketing strategies
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude and ability to adapt to changing business process or sales focus

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience, plus 3-4 years tele sales experience
  • Aptitude to learn technical/product information
  • Strong interpersonal communications
  • Telephone-based sales experience with the ability to ask open- ended questions
  • Customer service and effective telephone communication skills
  • Account or territory management experience (1-3 yrs)
  • Persistent, self-reliant, enthusiastic
  • Strong PC skills
  • Knowledge of support systems, diagnostic tools, escalation processes, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to problem solve and to think outside of the box
  • Effective within a team environment
  • Ability to exhibit strong general business and conflict negotiation skills
