IIA is hiring an experienced Director of Marketing at its corporate headquarters in Portland, Oregon. The position requires working in a professional environment in IIA’s downtown Portland, Oregon office.

The Director of Marketing will be responsible for creating and executing both corproate and service line marketing plans including branding, messaging, collateral development, content development and demand generation. She/he will also be responsible for tracking and maintaining the budget and for determining ROI on various marketing campaigns and projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall corporate branding, PR and messaging including collateral material, content-marketing, webinars, websites, social media and paid search campaigns.
  • Understanding our audience and developing buyer personas, user personas and journey maps
  • Creating strategies and playbooks to effectively reach our target personas that include C-level, VP-level and Director-level analytics leaders.
  • Partnering with individual service lines in formulating and managing all marketing initiatives.
  • Creating slide presentations, white papers, data sheets, website content, videos and other materials
  • Executing strategies to drive market awareness, consideration and demand generation
  • Monitoring competitive services, and business strategies, as well as industry information and trends.
  • Planning and coordinating live events and webinars.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Qualifications:

  • 5 To 10+ years of successful enterprise, B2B marketing experience, including specific knowledge of marketing collateral development, paid search / SEO, social media, demand generation, branding, promotions, press release creation, and campaign management.
  • 3 to 5+ years in a leadership role, overseeing a corporate or service line marketing function, preferably in a startup environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA in business or marketing

Capabilities (skills or knowledge required for success):

  • Experience in communicating with senior business leaders
  • Strong critical thinking and analysis skills
  • Outstanding verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to write thoughtful, strategic copy for targeted campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of analytics / AI market dynamics and industry trends
  • Capable of translating analytics oriented service lines into business benefits and plans
  • Familiarity with enterprise marketing and CRM systems. Knowledge of Salesforce.com and Pardot a plus.
