What we are looking for:

The Manager, Finance, will manage and maintain all accounting & financial functions. You will be expected to maximize return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. This individual must possess great attention to detail, meticulous organization skills, strong financial acumen, high aptitude for technology and financial systems and a strong desire and ability to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the expectations of the role consistently growing and expanding. He/She should be an inspiring and credible leader, that demonstrates reliable competence across all accounting functions with the ability to lead by example as a mentor and leader for the Accounting & Finance team. This position reports to the CEO.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
  • Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits; providing information to external auditors.
  • Maximizes return, and limits risk, on cash by minimizing bank balances.
  • Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.
  • Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
  • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation.


  • Oversee and review monthly accounting close process, including accruals, journal entries and account reconciliations prepared by staff.
  • Oversee all subsidiary account activity, including AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Revenue and Expense Accounts; ensure proper application of revenue recognition rules.
  • Coordination of tax return preparation and filing.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accurate financial reporting & appropriate documentation & support of all financial entries.
  • Prepare and review managerial reports; analyze business performance, including analytical review of operating results and key performance measure reports; develop financial plans.
  • Manage cash forecasting process; prepare and analyze cash projections; manage cash balances.
  • Prepare monthly financial forecasts and annual budgets; perform monthly fluctuation & margin analyses.
  • Implement, document & maintain adequate & effective controls, policies & procedures to ensure appropriate levels of financial controls as well as compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations; coordinate & distribute financial data related to due diligence.


  • Bachelor’s Degree required (preferably Finance or Accounting, or similar field); Master’s Degree preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant accreditation (CPA) highly desired
  • 2-3 years public accountancy and 7+ years previous Managerial experience required
  • Experience implementing ERP systems (NetSuite, IntAcct) and subscription-billing/SaaS software required
  • Project management experience a plus
  • Proficient in Managing Processes and Developing Standards
  • Extensive Financial Technology/Software knowledge; experience in FuseBill a plus

Supervisory Responsibility
You will oversee the US and India Accounting teams.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate through clear speech and writing. The employee will be required to sit before a computer, use computer equipment and office software, and use office equipment including the telephone. Internal and external meetings will require the employee to stand; walk; use hands. The job requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 15 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work and days are typically Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Work may require communication/teleconference with offshore teams which will need the person in this role to be flexible for communicating with stakeholders in different time zones.

This job is located in the INSZoom’s Pleasanton, CA/U.S. Headquarters office

Little to no travel is expected for this position.
