This is a Direct Hire or temp to hire opportunity for a Rochester client who has a location on the east side of Rochester. Reporting to President/Owner, Office Manager/Accounting Assistant will be responsible for all accounting functions. AP/AR, reporting and will also work with scheduling field technicians and service in the field.
Must be proficient in Quickbooks, Microsoft Office to include Excel, Outlook, etc. Must have very good computer skills, great attention to detail, thorough and accurate, good at multi tasking, excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. Responsible for bank deposits and perform other clerical duties, order office supplies, etc. Must be flexible to wear many hats, and willing to learn hours are 830 to 4:30 or 5pm. Pay is flexible based on current work history, experience and qualifications.
Someone who has accounting experience, excellent Customer Service and Administrative skills. A well rounded professional, well organized and good at multi tasking to simultaneously handle multiple projects and support administrative/ accounting functions.
Must have exceptional, accurate keyboarding abilities and advanced computer programs.
The following Accounting experience is a must to include intermediate to advanced Quickbooks.
Supervising a small staff is ideal but not a must.
• Accounts Receivable
• Accounts Payable
• General Ledger, cost accounting
• Administrative support, payroll
• Work order preparation
• good documentation and reporting
• Other administrative duties as required
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position is ideal.
• Well organized with ability to work independently
• Small office environment preferred
