As an award-winning boutique hotel, The Inn at Willow Grove provides guests with an unsurpassed luxury experience. We are looking for someone to join our Front Desk and Concierge team as a butler: answering phones, taking reservations, and assisting guests with every aspect of their stay. Our staff consists of guest service-oriented individuals who are energetic, organized, methodical and can work both as a team player and independently towards one goal - maximum guest satisfaction.
* Take care of all guests and coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs and requests. * Communicate regularly with the kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability. * Keeps other departments informed about guest allergies and food preferences. * Escorts the guests to their assigned rooms and carry their luggage. * Conducts the in room check-in process in a fast and efficient manner. * Perform software operations like check-ins / check-outs, update profile, room reservations, requests, apply payment, verify and adjust billing, process check-out etc. on the hotel software. * Checks in with guests to ensure satisfaction. * Assists housekeeping department as needed with turn-down service. * Fully conversant with accommodation features: lay-out, room type, location, decor, in room facilities and equipment. * Fully aware of operating procedures for all electrical and electronic equipment in the guest room. * Serves the guests in a calm, discrete and courteous manner, respecting timing standards. * Supports the other departments with their duties. * Picks-up trays as needed. * Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day. * Performs all his/her duties with the sense of priority and dedication. * Hosts and welcomes all guests in a gracious and polite manner, and to have the ability to hold a conversation with the guest in a natural and spontaneous manner. * Carries out checkout in efficient manner, offering luggage assistance. * To attend and contribute to all meetings, Departmental and Hotel training as scheduled and other related activities. * Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned out of the list.
* Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service. * Flexibility to work nights (including overnights), weekends and holidays. * Service oriented and enjoy working with the public. Previous customer service experience preferable. * Self-motivated and able to perform duties without supervision. * Strong organizational skills a must. * Reliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. * Must be able to lift 50 to 70 pounds, go up and down stairs with luggage, and stay active for extensive periods of time. * POS system experience preferred. * Strong computer and communication skills necessary.
