Senior Marketing Delivery Associate Job Description

As a Delivery Associate in Gaithersburg, MD, you’ll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives. North American Commercial is the ‘face’ of AstraZeneca to our many healthcare clients. They represent many of the most well recognized and respected products in the industry and build strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for working directly with our MDM Team Leader, Marketing Coordinator, and creative team members to create and deliver content for Brand assets and product launches. The Delivery Associate will understand the business and customer experience goals. The Delivery Associate will work closely with agency partners, our preferred suppliers and internal cross-functional areas to ensure successful and timely delivery of assets.

  • Work directly with the Market Delivery Team Leader and Marketing Delivery Coordinator to deliver commercial marketing content which may include websites, banner ads, emails, print collateral and social media assets
  • Understand and maintain knowledge of Brand strategy and business objectives to align marketing programs with Brand goals
  • Manage and maintain all content including text, images and videos, insuring they are tagged and stored in CMS according to defined standards
  • Expertise in content review and approval
  • Carryout production deliverables through coordination with Preferred Production Supplier (PPS)
  • Focus on reducing redundancy/increasing re-use of promotional assets
  • Work as a content expert to support the creation of digital and print promotional materials using designated modular content
  • Work closely with internal team members and external creative agency partners to update and refresh master content on a regular basis
  • Input and update detailed content and metadata into Master Content Repository
  • Manage multiple operational projects through the content management solution process, simultaneously, from concept kickoff to final approval
  • Attend meetings to review promotional pieces; make changes as instructed
  • Problem solve as issues arise
  • Develop content strategy in partnership and under the direction of the brand team
  • Own the creation of the editorial calendar aligned with short-term and long-term targets aligned to Squad OKRs
  • Make updates to digital assets using Content Authorization tools

Minimum Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in marketing, content delivery, marketing operations and/or advertising agency experience
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships across Brand, creative agency and production agency teams
  • Project management abilities with experience in managing complex and concurrent projects

Preferred Background

  • 3+ years of experience managing digital assets is preferred
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical or related experience preferred
  • Experience working with a collaboration/external partner
  • Independent worker with demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, leadership, and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and produce results in a matrix environment: "Lead without Authority"
