Bleaker and Brown, operators of Chef Vitaly Paley's new Imperial and Portland Penny Diner restaurants inside the Hotel Lucia, are currently seeking an experienced Catering Manager. This position will sell onsite catering in the meeting space of the Hotel Lucia, restaurant spaces and off-site events. Through proactive and reactive sales efforts, the Catering Manager will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals, develop clientele and manage key customer relationships. The Catering Manager will also detail events and provide onsite support and supervision of banquet personnel.
Duties also include contract review and facilitating communication before, during and post event with pertinent hotel staff to ensure a high level of service. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-3 years experience as a Catering Sales or Event Manager. This is a fast paced position with continual customer contact. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
