My client is a growing point of purchase displays manufacturing company located on Long Island. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager with specific experience in managing projects and cost estimating for point of purchase display projects. The industry is also called POP Displays.

To qualify, you should have experience in all the duties described here. You will be responsible for developing full-scale project plans, directing and managing project development of POP Displays. You will oversee estimating, purchasing, and production planning. Collaborating with sales and the customer, you will identify project requirements, estimate the resources to achieve goals, identify issues and conflicts.

You will prioritize production jobs, identify and manage project dependencies. Track project milestones and deliverables. Working with internal departments, assure that high quality standards are maintained and that on-time deliveries are made..

You should have experience estimating best costs for internal or externally supplied processes, and be able to provide timely and accurate estimates to the sales team. Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings and bills of material for display units made of wood, acrylic, injection molded plastic, and metal. You will provide detailed progress reports about schedules and budgets using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
