The HR coordinator will play a vital role to the inner workings of Hylink. As a HR coordinator, you will support Hylink with HR related tasks and benefits management. You will collaborate with various departments ensuring there is effective utilization of plans and benefits. You will be tasked with benefit plans, enrollments, training and HR compliance.

Reporting directly to senior agency staff, you will learn both the skills necessary to succeed in a management role. Your organizational skill combined with your attention to detail will help monitor the compliance of state and federal by-laws. You will be involved in a fast-paced, multi-task oriented team. You will be required to conduct audits of HR, payroll, benefits program and recommending the corrective process. You will also participate on the recruitment efforts and interview process.

You will anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the organizational needs of Hylink's key partners and objectives. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2-3 years of professional experience as an executive assistant / HR coordination role

  • Self-motivated and excellent in multitasking

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Well Organized with high-proficiency on Microsoft Excel, & Word

  • Ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion

  • Demonstrated ability to work calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments, as well as ability to escalate appropriately

  • Good understanding on agency process.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend career fairs, post job on websites, and generate qualified applicants

  • Help set up an office culture with company events

  • Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, expenses, PTO, turnover rates and ensure all employment requirements are met)

  • Assist supervisor with performance reviews

  • Revision and updating of employee handbook

  • Coordinate training sessions and seminars
