As an Accounts Manager, you will provide the client with analytical and sales power required to drive advertiser, acquisition and overall business growth of your portfolio.

You'll collaborate closely with senior Hylink team members, identify sales and business-development opportunities related to entertainment and sports media, share Hylink’s client resources to our internal teams, evangelize new Hylink products and technologies throughout the agency, and develop and manage strong relationships with internal agency influencers and decision-makers driving scalable product adoption and growth across the broader portfolio of accounts.

Reporting directly to senior agency staff, you will learn both the skills necessary to succeed in entertainment and sports media advertising, as well as understand emerging business models as they happen. Your knowledge of online media and entertainment combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. You will be involved in a fast-paced, multi-task oriented team. Covering training across programmatic, digital, industry analysis, and client service, you will acquire your influencing and relationship-building skills, provide Hylink-caliber client service, research, and market analysis.

You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Hylink's key partners and objectives. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day lead of client's marketing strategy development, sponsorship activation and experiential initiatives across the media agency, studio, endorsement marketing, property consulting and sales, and sports marketing.

  • Execute self-service platform campaign buys with training (eg. Google, Facebook, etc.).

  • Conduct competitive, industry, or client research for presentations, pitches, or industry analysis.

  • Develop briefs, client reports, and key agency documentation under the guidance of senior staff.

  • Assist various senior staff in execution of internal agency projects.

  • Develop client-facing relationship and servicing skills to better provide efficient deployment to our partners and clients.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of agency, property or client-based sponsorship account experience in the sports and entertainment industries (specific disciplines could include: sponsorship marketing, event marketing, studio marketing, media sales and media buying) is a MUST.

  • Experienced and exceptional with client management and communication.

  • Understanding of the business of sports, sports media, sports marketing, property consulting and sales and entertainment marketing.

  • Someone with a finance background is preferred.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

  • A deep understanding of the industry's issues, a vision for its growth, and a commitment to advance Hylink's forward-looking strategies within the marketplace.

  • Balanced team player dedicated to client service.

  • Strong presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external constituents simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues and develop recommendations and action plans.
