JOB OVERVIEW:

The duties of this position include performing clerical tasks in a small corporate office, such as preparing forms and documents and organizing files, answering correspondence and data entry. The job also entails providing occasional administrative support to members of the Executive team and others in the office. The ability to work with Excel, Word and other software to prepare and maintain logs, spreadsheets and charts, will be essential. In particular this role supports the retail expansion of Hydrant, by enabling the sales team to operate at maximum efficiency.


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administrative support for executive team; including arrange travel, dining, meeting and other appointments
  • Type, format and proof interoffice and outside correspondence in a timely manner
  • Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry
  • Accurate and efficient data entry across internal and external systems
  • Source, scan and transcribe information into required formats across various management systems and databases
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports for executive team
  • Willingness to assist with special projects from a variety of people
  • Comply with data integrity, security policies and confidentiality

Requirements

KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • Planning and organizing, information collection and management, problem-solving, and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Able to work under pressure while maintaining performance and work standards
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Fast learner, excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced in relevant computer applications such as MS Word and Excel


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree or equivalent administrative experience required
  • Three or more years of experience in an administrative support role or related field
  • Cheerful, helpful, and cooperative attitude and a sense of humor
