OCTANe’s LaunchPad SBDC economic accelerator program is looking for its next LaunchPad startup accelerator manager. OCTANe has created one of the nation’s most dynamic ecosystems to drive technology industry growth in Orange County by connecting ideas and people with resources, expertise and capital. It’s the one place where entrepreneurs, investors, executives, academics, clinicians, and business advisors come together to collaborate, create, and grow.
OCTANe LaunchPad’s mission is to discover talented entrepreneurs, help them create successful companies at scale, and build a thriving ecosystem in Southern California. OCTANe LaunchPad is a non-profit economic accelerator that helps later staged technology startup companies prepare for their late Seed, Series A & B round of capital. Historically, we have helped over 600 companies raise over $2B in capital and produce over 8,000 new high paying technology jobs.
LaunchPad is searching for outstanding individuals who are looking to apply their business development and networking skills to help identify the fundamental technology companies of tomorrow. This is a role responsible for supporting the development of the LaunchPad team with the following activities, among others: finding, developing, maintaining, organizing, analyzing and publishing economic and financial data on the portfolio of LaunchPad alumni companies.
Generating and managing the LaunchPad deal flow process from application to funding
Managing due diligence and economic impact analysis
Business development in identifying new technology companies and other strategic partnerships.
