Applicants MUST have 3 to 5 years prior experience as a Hotel General Manager to be considered for this position!

The Hotel General Manager we are looking for will manage All aspects of the Hotel. Some of these responsibilities include but are not limited to managing all staff team members (i.e. Sales, Housekeeping, Front Desk, Breakfast, and Maintenance), achieve Budget, and continuously train staff in Excellent Customer Service!!

Candidates should have prior experience and be able to provide past professional experience. We are looking for someone that is Hard Working, a "Go Getter", and truly Enjoys the day-to-day operations of a hotel.

Job Requirements:

*Hiring, training, counseling, disciplining performance evaluations and terminating of all employees according to the hotel policies and procedures.

*Consistent proper orientation and training of employees and department heads, as well as maintaining an ongoing in-house education program.

*Conduct regular meetings with department heads, at least once per week. Meeting should have a written agenda, and minutes should be kept on file.

*Conduct monthly total staff meetings for training and communicating with the entire team. Meeting should have a written agenda, and minutes should be kept on file.

*Maintaining a high level of employer/employee relations by initiating and leading a positive work environment and involvement in all departments.

*Maintaining the methods and procedures used by employees for compliance with operating procedures.

*Maintaining personnel files and records in compliance with the state and federal laws.

*Maintaining up-to-date emergency procedures manual in the events of fires, deaths, etc.

*Verify that property is in compliance with all health, fire/safety, OSHA, and ADA regulations.

*Maintaining proper maintenance of the building, grounds, and courtesy vehicles for the safety and comfort of guests and employees.

*Regular interaction in all departments daily. Know your staff, their needs, their concerns and challenges, and be prepared to address issues as needed.

*Conduct a site inspection of your entire hotel, exterior and public areas daily

*Check in and/or out at least 5 guest per week. Inspect at least 15 guest rooms per week.
