Overall scope of position:
Performs a variety of sales/business development activities delivering growth as part of the Honey-Can-Do Business Development team.
Duties include growing revenues with existing customers while expanding a base of new customers and channels of distribution in an effort to meet/exceed financial targets.
Establishing customer forecasts, develop/implement strategies for growth through innovative thinking, collaboration and hard work.
Establishing competitive pricing strategies to meet/exceed financial targets.
Analyze customer market conditions while developing strategic plans for growth.
Analyze business results and competitive performance, develop/make recommendations to meet/exceed financial targets.
Preparing presentations to accounts.
Maintaining department database records, prepare/analyze reports on customer performance.
Maintaining solid customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with speed and professionalism.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring initiatives/strategies to market including new product development.
Participating in trade shows including preparation, setup as required.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field, MBA preferred.
2-5 years of sales experience in consumer goods, hardware/home center channel preferred.
Experience in implementing sales & marketing initiatives across a wide range including consumer promotional plans.
Excellent computer expertise in navigating MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Interest in consumer goods and product development.
Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize work for self and others in a deadline driven environment.
Professional verbal and written communication abilities; comfortable connecting with internal and external parties.
Creative problem solver with initiative needed to suggest and complete projects in new ways
Pays attention to details with a consistent sense of urgency.
Maintains fun and positive Honey-Can-Do attitude while working in fast-paced environment
Have transportation to perform offsite duties.
Ability to travel for customer meeting, trade shows, events as needed.
