As the DRUPS (Rotary UPS) Field Service Technician your role is to maintain, service, and document on low and medium voltage DRUPS installations on the West Coast US.
Main activities:
Being able to execute the Electrical / Mechanical (E/M) quarterly maintenance program (QPM) on Hitec systems*.
Being able to execute the (E/M) semi-annual Maintenance program (SPM) on Hitec systems*.
Being able to execute the (E/M) annual Maintenance program (APM) on Hitec systems*.
Being able to execute preventive Electrical and Mechanical trouble shooting *. (Highly Desired)
Being able to use monitoring/SCADA/PLC software for (E/M) trouble shooting with helpdesk assistance.
Prepare and execute installation maintenance in accordance with the applicable procedures, guidelines, instructions, and international standards.
Provide technical support to customers, sister companies, distributors, and agents.
Support other technicians during the installation phase on site, prior to the commissioning of the UPS installation.
Support and Manage subcontractors during onsite work
Communicate with the onsite representative of the customer.
Report daily progress and quality with the Service Manager / Customer
Ability to read and understand technical drawings (Highly Desired)
Use of electrical testing equipment (Multimeters, Insulation testers, etc.) (Highly Desired)
Desire for medium and low voltage electrical, and mechanical engineering.
Communication, reporting, and technical skills
Strong desire to have a career in maintaining industrial rotating equipment
Willingness to learn and improve skills
Team oriented
Travel when required (short notice)

Strong written (Technically) and verbal communication skills
